Stacking Rings - One Day Workshop
Learn how to decorate or texture sterling silver and create a set of 3-4 sterling silver stacking rings. This short workshop is great for those that are new to jewellery making and would like to try it, but it is also great for those who would like to review techniques they have already learned. All materials are included in the workshop fee.
This workshop is open to New and Current students, no prerequisites are required. The One Day Workshops are 3-4 hours in length, beginning at 6:00pm on the date listed.

Making a Snake Ring - One Day Workshop
Learn how to anneal, forge and saw sterling silver by making your own snake ring. This short workshop is great for those that are new to jewellery making and would like to try it, but it is also great for those who would like to review techniques they have already learned. Russian Wedding Band Workshop
Learn how to create your own set of sterling silver Russian Wedding Bands. This short workshop is great for those that are new to jewellery making and would like to try it, but it is also great for those who would like to review techniques they have already learned. All materials are included in the workshop fee.
This workshop is open to New and Current students, no prerequisites are required. The One Day Workshops are 3-4 hours in length, beginning at 6:00pm on the date listed.

Flush Set Stone Pendant - One Day Workshop
Another technique in my new advanced series workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to learn/practise/refine techniques. The creative component will be largely removed and we will focus on mastering the technique of flush settings, with a little bit of sweat soldering as well. Each student will complete one sterling silver sweat soldered pendant with a flush setting complete with a 3mm faceted cubic zirconia.
This workshop is open to current students who have completed both Introduction to Jewellery Making and Metalsmithing and Intro 2. This One Day Workshop is 4-5 hours in length, beginning at 5:00pm on the date listed.

Forged Ring with Tube Set Faceted Stone - One Day Workshop
The second workshop available in my new advanced series workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to learn/practise/refine techniques. The creative component will be largely removed and we will focus on mastering the technique of tube settings, with a little bit of forging as well. Each student will complete one sterling silver forged ring with a soldered tube setting in the middle. The tube setting will be complete with a genuine faceted stone 4mm in diameter.
This workshop is open to current students who have completed both Introduction to Jewellery Making and Metalsmithing and Intro 2. This One Day Workshop is 4-5 hours in length, beginning at 1:00pm on the date listed.

Cold Connected Earrings and Pendant - One Day Workshop
Use traditional fine jewellery making techniques to create a unique, cold connected pendant and earring set of your own design. Metals can include sterling silver, copper or brass. Mix and match different textures and learn to make a tube rivet. No experience is required, but this workshop is also suitable for advanced students. Use a jewellers saw, acetylene torch, polishing machine, pliers and hammers. This short workshop is a great way to try your hand at fine jewellery making and produce a jewellery piece that you will love to wear.

Cold Connected Cuff Bracelet - One Day Workshop
In this one night workshop, students will create a cold connected cuff bracelet of their own design. Techniques covered in this workshop are sawing, annealing with a torch, hammering or roller printing, forming and riveting. This short workshop is great for those that are new to jewellery making and would like to try it, but it is also great for those who would like to review techniques they have already learned or try a new technique. All bracelet materials are included in the workshop fee, you can use a combination of sterling silver, copper or brass.

Paper Clip Chain Necklace - One Day Workshop
From our advanced workshop series, use Traditional fine jewellery making techniques to create a sterling silver paper clip chain necklace. This course requires that you have taken Introduction to Jewellery Making and Metalsmithing, however, previous experience with soldering chain would be helpful. Use a jump ring maker, acetylene torch, jewellers saw and more to create your chain. This one day workshop is a great way to explore a more challenging technique or practise your chain making skills and learn to make your own toggle clasp. Please note that your chain might to be finished during the workshop, in which case you can always book an open studio to complete it. All materials are included in the workshop fee.

Bezel Set Ring - One Day Workshop
The first workshop available in my new advanced series workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to learn/practise/refine techniques. The creative component will be largely removed and we will focus on mastering the technique of bezel settings. Each student will complete one sterling silver ring and bezel setting with a genuine stone cabochon 8mm or 10mm in diameter. You can add some embellishment to the base of the setting and complete with a patina.
This workshop is open to current students who have completed Introduction to Jewellery Making and Metalsmithing. This One Day Workshop is 5 hours in length, beginning at 1:00 pm on the date listed.

Marriage of Metals - One Day Workshop
Use traditional fine jewellery making techniques to learn advanced marriage of metals techniques. In this short workshop you will learn how to make a piece of sheet stock of married metals ( copper, brass or silver ) to use in your future jewellery making projects. This workshop is to teach you the technique and you will leave with a small piece of sheet instead of a finished piece of jewellery, which you can later use at home or during open studio time.
This workshop is open to students who have taken Introduction to Jewellery Making and Metalsmithing. The One Day Workshops are 3-4 hours in length, running from 1:00 pm on the date listed. There are no materials included in the workshop fee. Copper, brass and silver used will be billed at the studio rate or you can supply your own.
